The VORTEX infeed spans 32-inches, which is the full width of the drum. This ultra-wide throat opening is nearly, in every case, twice as wide as all others in its class, including Vermeer and Bandit. The math is simple – the larger the opening, the more material can be placed into the chipper at one time for processing.

The current VORTEX lineup includes three towable wood chippers covering compact 12" capacity up through a high-output 18" commercial brush chipper. Each of the models share the same core technology: open-face drum, reverse-pivot feed wheel, heavy Torflex axle, and that distinctive fluorescent safety green finish.
